Personally haven't heard a thing, but it's not that annoying... takes me like 6 minutes every 3 days to cycle through other FCs. It'd be nice if they were tradeable, but compared to other things like having to click plants or retainers a million times to repeat something, it's personally not that much of an inconvenience.
Edit: 16 FCs? You don't even need that many... You only need 6 FCs in total (your primary and 5 others) to be able to keep them topped up and still be building up a surplus.

You would use 14 charged tier 3 wheels in a week (7 days, 2 a day) and each takes 70 hours to charge. 70 hours each for 14 buffs is 980 hours, but of course only 168 hours in a week, so need 5.8 (6) FC's working on it to keep ahead of requirements.
Every 3 days send a character round to pick them all up, end up back in the main FC and add 6 more actions (3 days worth) to the FC action list at the same time. Repeat in 3 days time.
This all sounds like so much work for so little gain...
Maybe? I guess it depends on the size of the FC/how many players are taking advantage of it and what buffs you're running.
I use to mix ours up, but now we only run Heat of Battle 3 (15% extra battle exp) and Reduced Rates 3 (40% teleport cost reduction) as they benefit pretty much everyone every day. Even our all 70s still benefit from reduced teleport costs and while 40% might not sound a lot, it soon adds up. If you teleport from SB areas to ARR/HW areas instead of 999 it's only 599, 400 gil saved with every teleport :D
It's not really about myself or my FC since it's only made out of 10 people, I do it because it's an easy way to reach the gil cap when an expansion launches. It's pretty easy to sell primed tier 3 FC buffs for a mil each to panicking FC leaders when people are jumping ship left and right for said buffs. Been there done that...
Anyway, it's not as painful if you have more than 1 service account since you don't have to log in/out as much as you can simply invite yourself, but it still takes a while. At least, it makes it a lot more easier to keep up with your houses' demo timer, because it does get hard to keep up with you have 16 lol.
