GM Xithultor - Handling a very - senstive situaiton. - Great job!
Today a player who has been bad mouthing the game verbally in Novice Network for the last 3 days "verbally" retaliated after I repeatedly warned him (As I'm a Mentor) that this is not a place to rant about the game..but to seek help and assistance...to stop being salty and chill out.
Being this is the 3rd day...3rd/4th warning... I kicked him for language and hate (he dropped the F-Bomb)
He then proceeded to threaten me with GM action and reddit posts... I just smiled and said "Sure - I'd love the attention" (I don't use reddit... nor any other social networks...nor do I really care)
Then he asked me if I owned a Loaded Gun.
I reported him for the obvious inferred threat.
Xithultor showed up and took care of business professionally and with a great deal of help.
Yes I understand Novice Network is a chat room that many use...and sadly abuse.
But On Adamantoise we at least have a unwritten/unspoken set of rules that everyone understands...you can have fun...but don't hate the game..don't spoil it...and don't be a.....well "that guy"
I'd like to think new players shouldn't have to watch people yelling about the game and being verbally abusive...so that was my intent.
In any case - the GM did his job and I'm thankful for it.
