Question regarding Data Center transfer and top 100

I know your rank in Feast resets if you transfer during the ongoing season, but what happens to your placement in the top 100 in one of the old seasons if you change Data Center? Do your character disappear? What if someone else makes a character with the same name on the server I left etc. What if my character is deleted. Etc.

It would be even better if we got an official answer on this, but not holding my breath for that one since it's PvP related. I guess the same question could be asked regarding PotD progress/rank though.

It seems to take a snapshot of your character's server and name (but not your character's appearance), the rank 3 player for season 1 on Primal moved to another server/datacenter but it still shows his old server and name from that season. So, I think it would preserve that information even if you deleted your character, changed name, etc. Not 100% on this, though!

your character stays there no matter what you do to it, only thing that changes is race and gender, old name and old server stay there
