Nerf Warriors

I wasn't sure were to post this, but this is a suggestion and a question. I think Warriors defined as a tank should be nerfed overall. They hit harder then most dps in the opening sequence and can maintain high dps while sustaining taking damage with no risk and all the reward. I know DRK is coming out with hopefully some good reworks and can compete at the warrior level of tank. In terms of comparison to the other 2 tanks, WAR outshines both of them in both aspects. I would remove the resistance down off their skill < They can pair with either SAM or NIN now for that debuff. Reduce potency or increase CD on abilities or increase risk with what they use such as increasing the damage they take considerably out of tank stance or when Holmegane (sp?*) is finished reduce healing taken by 30% for 10 seconds. WAR needs to be leveled out with the other two tanks. And my question is have you ever thought about doing this at all?

As for the resistance down.. It is the Slash Resistance down.

WAR does need some tweaking on the nerf side but tbh not for the reasons you gave. If you want to talk nerfs, you should gain a better understanding of the job first.

WAR hits harder right out of the gate because it is a tank and tanks do not typically have a DPS rotation like BLM or SAM or MNK that requires at least 5 GCDs before they can get *in* to their rotation. WAR has burst damage. That's it. Once Free Fell Cleaves is on CD, they must wait.
And unless your parsing, which is against TOS, you cannot use the aggro list to determine damage for an OT WAR because many many WARs are incorrectly using their Butcher's Block combo due to higher potency. The problem is, it's also higher agro, so Storm's Path should be used instead to prevent aggro problems and to faster build the rage gauge for more fell cleaves.
My suggestion tbh is to simply swap the BB and SP combo potencies and then see how it goes from there before making drastic changes and having to rebalance all over again, as is usually the case when SE tries to balance a job.

I was hoping this was a suggestion for a new job that shoots foam darts and carries a pool noodle - the Nerf Warrior. Huge disappointment.

I think it would be better if they worked on making the other tanks closer to WAR in someway instead of making WAR suffer, Nerfing War isn't gonna fix Dark or help Paladin.

Why are you so salty about it if you're not a tank? You want the tanks in your raid groups to be effective and engaged in efforts to kill the boss, don't you?

WAR is fine. By your logic they'd need to nerf PLD too because it's utility outshines and outclasses both DRK and WAR. If WAR doesn't do what it does then the meta would've been double PLD by now.
Just fix DRK properly and it all turns to dust in the wind.

I believe what she is trying to say is that dps is underachieving if you compare them with tanks... could say their damage is close..
On the otherhand.. a tank is kinda a dps too, just one that can soak more damage... and that is how the game was intended so I don't see an issue with the current Tanks..
