I'm very confused about the log-off exp idea. How will it work? Will it accommodate for the connection instability, or will we only be rewarded by manually logging out? I love this game, but I know there will be a lot of annoyed players if they have to worry about missing their bonus because of an involuntary disconnect.
In any case, like I said: I love this game! I know a lot of players complain about the changes or make unrealistic demands, but I hope you know that at least this little Midlander CNJ sees all of the possibilities you create with each change and eagerly awaits each update!
The people who complain about the action changes fail to realize that this doesn't necessarily make XIV a worse game than it was. If anything, they should learn that it's merely a different game, and all changes thereafter will be made with the new ability sets in mind, not the old ones. I hate when people say "this would be easier if I had such-and-such pre-1.20 abilities" because those abilities aren't what the developers build their fights around anymore. They want to make sure all classes have a shot at all forms of endgame and are continuing to balance everything accordingly. I think players should stop whining about what they lost in 1.20 and learn to love what they have: a battle system that the developers are comfortable with and can expand upon more easily.

My understanding of the log-off exp is that you will need to log off in your inn room to benefit from it. Once in the room, whether you log off manually, forcefully (please be gentle), or involuntarily.
