DPS Jobs Ranked by Actions Per Minute (APM)?

How would you rank each DPS job by its average APM (Actions Per Minute) from highest to lowest?

Rough estimation ( I don't really play casters much so I might be totally off with them)
BRD > NIN, MNK, SAM > MCH > DRG > SMN > RDM > BLM

I might be mosaicex counterpart im more into range/caster than into melees...

for me cls like Brd & Smn who orientate more on a prio system than on a fix rota have a kind of high buttonblows - also leveling Mch atm I was surprised of the amount of ammo & turret re-uses... so yeah I would second the range/caster order in mos statement BRD > NIN, MNK, SAM > MCH > DRG > SMN > RDM > BLM - don't know about melees tho ^^

monk have 312, bard 310, ninja 298, dragoon 246 casts in 6min 19 sec fight.

but brd and mnk seem like top, and blm easily last

That depends if you want to count moving to use positionals as "actions", which I do because you are pressing buttons to move back and forth. If you do, then Monk absolutely crushes it in that regard.

Monk also has a lot of things to do during jump phases between form shirt, meditation, possibly activating riddle of earth. Other jobs don't have nearly the amount of stuff to do during jumps like monks do. That contributes to the number of actions per minute on the job since it never stops doing things.

Depending on the RNG, Bard seems very busy to me.

I agree that MNK is busier than BRD. Bard's randomness with some procs can leave you with differing amounts of buttons to press depending on luck, and taking into account how much movement monk has to do to maintain dps positional they have a lot more button presses than just skill activations. Ninja is a close third because of ninjutsu but those come in bursts.
