Stormblood unspoiled info for leveling DoL (or fresh lv 70)

Hi all, I'm not a regular visitor of the DoL forum, and I'm not even a true end-game DoL since I haven't done any melds yet, but I generated this figure here, which I think could be helpful to some leveling DoL who are just started to unlock end-game contents:

The list helped me a lot since it's organized by time, and also nearby aetheryte info. I understand some really nice websites out there would have the same list. But having a light-weight picture like this sometimes is rather convenient.

I found a very useful gathering app for iOS that sends notifications, has times, and slots. You can sort and filter out which items you want to farm. So if you only want Silvergrace Ore it will only send the an alert when that specific node is up. Also has a very nice timer that turns red as it is within 3 minutes of the node spawn.

Hawk's Eye (slot 7) - shares the same node as Nightsteel Ore at 6:00
Hardened Veteran Tree Sap (slot 4) - shares the same node as Black Willow Log at 4:00

This is all new to me. I'm at level 61 and I never did any of the unspoiled nodes. I just grinded my way up gathering items as I plan on crafting and I'm poor so I figured I will need the mats. Anyway here are my questions.

My stats are 610 GP and my gathering and perception are both around 750. Is there a level to these items or can I harvest any of these. I tried to search and all I can find are lists that give me spawn times.

I'm doing both miner and botanist at the same time. I just completed the original Stormblood msq so I have all the zones unlocked for flying so I should be all set for that. I have not done any of the additional content. Not sure if that will mess me up at some point or not.

If you want, you can basically ignore them until you get to 70. Sure, youd be giving up collectables as a source of exp... but youd still have custom deliveries, the new beast tribe, levequests, gc turn ins, and just gathering stuff as viable leveling methods. As for these items themselves, some of the nodes will only appear after youve bought the folklore books for the regions in question. The folklore ones in particular often have minimum skills required to gather them/get them in hq. And if youre gathering to craft you can ignore Caimies note about a collectable rotation.

But the books are red scrip items. Admittedly Zhloe gives out red scrip but only for collectables.

I got all my books from custom deliveries and from squadron chemistry bonuses. Zhloe and the like do require collectables, but they ask for special ones so you dont need to bother with timed nodes.

Thank you for the tips. This helps quite a bit. I harvested some nodes and they do give quite a bit of experience. Now I am wondering what should I be spending the scrips on? I was thinking the books at 2,500 each. I see some gear but this might be a waste to pick up.

Also have a rotation question. Is the appraisal skill that is 0.8-1.5 x perception not good to use? (I can't recall the name of it at this time) The rotations often listed say to use Methodical Appraisal which is 1.0 x perception. I tried using the .08-1.5 one a few times and I seemed to be getting higher quality. Maybe this is because I'm still on the low items or I just got lucky, not really sure. Thought someone might be able to give me some pointers on this.
