Housing Issue & Harassment

I reported a player at night around 2:50 AM PDT, 5/1/2018.

This player kept entering my FC house and leaving every or so hour for the entire day while I was decorating my house/crafting etc, very random instances to the point I got uncomfortable.

Ofc I asked him why he was here and he said he wanted to check on my progress. The next thing you know while I was crafting with some of my friends near my plot, I walk in and see him running from point A ->B and back again for over 30 minutes in my house. My friends even saw this event. No response when I asked him what he was doing.

I reported this person and GM Temuhsae replied back after 40 minutes only to find that nothing could be done. He couldn't remove this person from my house and asked me to lock it. Preventing my friends from visiting and asking for feedback is something I do regularly while decorating and now I can't even do this without knowing this player might return again. GM Temuhsae did say he would investigate, but that didn't resolve the issue I had right there and then. I guess forms of harassment is also ranked and not seen equally the same when this was indeed a form of harassment.

tl;dr Nothing has been solved and made my situation more troublesome.

Feedback: Give an option to expel people from houses

Aside from just being creepy has the player interfered with your ability to build or use other game functions?
It sounds like they are copying your house designs, just not being subtle about it.

still, creepy is creepy. I'd be much more folorful with my communication to the player if it was me...

No, I've had previous conversations with him when I first saw him come into my house. Bragging about his gil and how he owns 2 mansions etc, but he doesn't decorate them. That's one thing he did mention.

I honestly didn't mind him checking out my progress. What really made me uncomfortable was him running around for 30 min straight without a response.

Had this once with a couple of neighbors. GM said only thing that can be done is to blacklist as people are allowed to be where the game lets them. I bought a Mansion in a differnt ward so it worked itself out anyway.

They really should give us the option to lock houses to those not on friends lists, fc or ls member lists, or in party with us, or to lock it to those we put on our blacklists. That way you could at least choose to only open it to those immediately associated with you, or to keep it open to everyone with the option of blocking those who come in and start acting creepy.

Hmm, you might even try searching the character name om youtube to see if they're out there filming vids of your build process. You never know.

I highly doubt that. Also, to describe him running around.

He runs in circles from the entrance door and stops half-way from the first case of stairs that leads down to the cellar and runs back up to the door for 30 minutes; very small radius and you can't do that even with auto-run on. (Medium House)
