Moogle mail Recall?

The other night I was trying to send mats for a stack of 99 pots to a friend from the moogle mail and misclicked the name above them and happened to send it to a person who hasnt logged on in a year.

I was wondering if there was any way to get these items back or if they are lost to the void. Id really like it if SE would make it so mail is like FFXIs mail or if mail could be recalled to avoid things like this.

Theres no way to un-send mail. Your best bet would be something else.

If the friend who hasnt been around for a year comes back(even for only a couple days), they can return the items to you.
