Hi everyone, I'm actually learning the monk (actually lvl64 with it) and I would like to know about an "optimal" AOE rotation. What do u use when there is 2 mobs, 3 mobs or more and 5 mobs or more ?
Thanks in advance for your answers!

This is what you are looking for!
A small addendum because this otherwise beautiful infographic doesn't specify: use the non-AoE parts of your AoE rotation on the mob with the highest health, rather than the lowest, to take full advantage of everyone's DoTs and AoEs.
On 4 + targets: PB - Rockbreaker Spam - Weave in IF and HF after 3 GL. After PB is up and there's at least 3-4 mobs still alive it's just like stated above. Focus highest hp target and replace Snap or Demo with Rockbreaker until you drop to 3- mobs. Our aoe sucks after that point
The opener in this guide doesnt even account for Riddle of Wind giving you a grease lightning stack, with it you can do brotherhood on the 4th GCD and save Perfect Balance for its full duration in dps, spamming tornado kicks only when you can quickly recover from them using Perfect Balance or Riddle of Wind.
Edit: I had made a VERY crude opening guide a few weeks ago, if you can bear with it I'd invite you to try it out.

Thanks for that since I'm actually trying the riddle of wind opener. I saw the best monks using the dot in fist of fire before going into fist of wind for riddle of wind. What is the difference between that and what u show in the image ? (In term of dps I mean)
I'm looking at the image and I see the post opening rotation and I have a question ? Shouldn't it be better to have tornado kick inside RoF window ?
It should be the very last action you do before RoF expires
And since both openers are perfectly viable, go with whatever flows best to you.
