Looking for a high population server.

Hi,is there a way to find out which servers have a decent population? i currently have characters on Famfrit and Excalibur,Famfrit seems dead and there's little to no activity on Excalibur that's not end game.

But but I love famfrit fam :(

Pretty sure the highest pop servers that aren't locked atm are gilgimesh and Leviathan, not sure about Leviathan but I know Greg is new character locked from time to time since it was released back out into general population.

Imo though (assuming ur a new player) low pop servers are the way to go. You get a big boost to exp earned up to lvl 60 and ff14 is such an instanced mmo in most aspects your own server pop doesn't matter when ur pulling instances across ur data center. Finding an FC to get that community feel is just as easy on a low pop from a high one and the only thing I've found to be a negative is your market board stuff will take some time to sell and you probably won't make as much, but u can buy things for cheap and we have houses at full devaluation.

Key is looking for active realms and not total characters.

Most activity on any server is going to be endgame. If that's your problem, I don't think changing servers will solve it. If you are just looking for people to play with your time might be better spent trying to find a FC or LS that is a good match for you.

I didn't expect Cactuar to be one of the more active NA servers :S
