Pld help please

I have gone through and watched as many videos as I can.read as many post as I could and I need help finding out how to improve dps on pld I see some doing 5k dps and I understand that probably top gear but some of these videos and post are outdated most I mustered was 3.4 k what can I do to improve it please help

Going by what I've seen, it looks like you have a solid rotation. You apply your Goring Blade/Royal Authority properly and it looks like you are using Requiscat + Holy Spirit correctly. It might just be a matter of gear and just optimization. You might be able to find specific help on discord if you use it. The Balance is a great source for pulling out the most damage you can.

Agreed looks like gear and just getting used to the rotation will help you best. Good Luck!

Where are you getting these personal numbers? In raid content? In dummies? Most top DPS Paladins mix gear with a perfect or nice party composition too. Besides the rotation, it helps to have an almost perfect uptime, don't drop dots, smart usage of Sheltron for procs and whatnot. I'd suggest you to join The Balance discord group and post your logs there. These guys are extremely helpful to find flaws in your performance and suggest changes to correct it. They helped me a lot when I needed it.

Remember the numbers you get in raid are vastly different because of raid buffs provided by other players.

I'm looking over some of your logs and I definitely see some issues.

Comparing you to me (looking at a O6S kill where you didn't die):

• 7 less CPM. You were pressing buttons nearly 25% less often than I was. I had 309 casts, you had 246 (adjusted for fight length)
• You had much less auto's than I did. Make sure you're in range of the boss more often (aka work on managing uptime)
• Missing some oGCDs (Circle of Scorn & Spirits Within notably)
• You did not use a single shield swipe, and only used 4 sheltrons
• Your had 3 more fast Blades than Riot Blades. In addition - you had 42 Riot Blades, but only a combined 40 (RA + GB)
• 9 less Holy Spirit casts, in addition only 4 out of 7 of your Requiescats were empowered
• Questionable Shield Oath usage despite being OT
• No Reprisal?

This is compared to me. I'm a ~90% player, who makes a ton of mistakes here and there and has plenty of room to improve. I did approx. 1,400 more DPS than you did (I'm also a fair bit more geared though).

Since they nerfed Holy Spirit, it's better to start with FoF into Requiescat. So, what happens is this: Fast Blade -> Riot Blade -> FoF -> Goring Blade -> Circle of Scorn -> Fast Blade -> Riot Blade -> Potion -> Royal -> Spirits Within -> Fast Blade -> Riot Blade -> Royal -> Fast Blade -> Riot Blade -> Goring Blade -> Requiescat -> Holy Spirit spam with Spirits+SoC on cd.

If you pop the pot there, it will last for 2 RA and 1 GB and ALL the Holy Spirits window. Since you have a second left of FoF when you apply the second Goring Blade, it will also buff the Requiescat damage, since it's an ability, not magic damage. It will also perfectly align with raid buffs (If they know what they are doing).

Sheltron usage varies from fight to fight. You usually use it when AoE damage happens so you can proc Shield Swipe. Not only for busters. You can also use it while covering a target.
