I haven't seen a thread on the new set that was made from the contest. So I was wondering what everyone thought about it here on the forums (since the reddit community is a bit different in terms of opinions).

I think it actually looks pretty decent...especially those flaming horns. Though, only time will tell if it looks good on my character.
Though...would be nice to have less robe like stuff for caster/healer, but that is kind of how they usually distinguish them from the other classes at just a glance. =/
Looks fine to me, but I prefer Skalla sets more.
But what really gets me is the fact that these unique dyeable gears only get to stay for a single patch, while SE's low effort recolored trash gets to stay for two, stinking up the expert roulette.
The coat strikes me as a super re-skin of the Void Ark one. I like the caster set, I can't identify the others though. For instance, the second one from left to right, I like the boots and the chest piece. The rest is kinda meh.
I think they're ugly. I hope raid gear will be better.

I don't quite like the artistic liberties the designers took when translating the concept art. I am also not a fan of those dark blue-ish spin-offs, they look a little like they made a generic set and then put the contest helmet on top to make them fit into the picture. Simply changing the color scheme probably would have helped a bunch already there.
Pretty much only the caster gear gets love from me. All the rest look like bad clones.
