My "shrine" to Bahamut would be so much cooler without it. The bright blue doesn't go with much. I understand this is probably a bit annoying to code, as miniatures would likely be their own category, but I would really like to see this.

Not only does the base not match anything else in game, but most of the miniatures float over it. Sometimes you can hide the base in a piece of furniture, but it's not always possible, since things like to snap up to a surface sometimes. It can be really frustrating. I totally agree with this idea. No base options would be amazing!
I agree.
Or, if they can't remove it all together, please let us dye the base so it at least matches the rest of our decor schemes.
I would love to get rid of the bases. Especially on some of the larger figures, the bases are way too big to put on anything but the largest tables, which just doesn't look nice.
In your particular case, would you be able to clip the base through the throne to hide it?
I like this idea. The bases are so large they limit placement of miniatures from places they would look good due to an overhanging base.
I could see way more possibilities for the miniatures without the base(Sophia hanging in the air in the entrance to the mansion facing off against Bahamut). Would be interesting if possible to do. Even if it's just a toggle for the base to be invisible(Emperor's New Base?)
Unless it's a toggle that is done when you are placing it, I can see what you mean.
Definitely want to be able to have no base on those for when I finish my trophy room...just need to finish leveling crafters so that I can make it all myself...only 20 levels to go on all but alchemist(10 to go there) and culinarian(already 70). >.>
I was originally going to say "It would look weird to have a random Scathach floating over whatever you decided to place her on" but then I saw the Stuffed Alpha and remembered Stuffed Khloe and all of them have such tiny 'bases' (i.e. whatever part of the model is touching the shelf) that if they're going to do it for stuffed animals and other tabletop stuff, heck, get rid of it from the miniatures, too. I also hate that they're not round, they're octagonal, which means that if I have my Susanoo at the angle I want want him, it looks off because of the base angles. Bah.
I agree to this, or at least let us change the colour of the base so we can match it with the rest of the decor.
