Yoshi P. said that he loves mage classes and esp the summoner and this excites me since one of my main jobs on xi is smn

green robes and a red horn is a must for summoner for me personally^~^

In my opinion, summon's will be earnt and not a handout in FFXIV (yay), given all the job related quests that will be introduced. How difficult the quests are, I cannot say.

Anyway, Summoner class is a must.

Can't say i'm not unhappy about the small company's providing summons for non summoner classes though.

But as a summoner-fan boy, its just a natural reaction.

Exactly.

Regardless, I might be one of the few that DOESN'T want a summoner class. It's no like the jobs/classes need to be 1:1 with XI. Not to mention the role summons cover in this game is completely different.
