Apparently its my fault if people dont use fruit in Aurum Vale

Then they vote kick you after the boss. I explained that they need to clear debuffs using the fruit at 2 stacks. They complained that I "am a bad healer, cause I didnt Esuna it and used too much AoE healing, so I had no mana." I mean, ST healing doesnt do a whole lot when any of them could die mid GCD cause they dont know how to listen to advice. Also, Esuna can't clear that.

So, im stuck with a 30 min debuff cause people dont listen and use their ignorance as a weapon. Nice community we got here.

Some people aren't very smart. When there's nearly a full group of them it can get ugly. What happened is unfortunate, but I would let it go and move on. Not everyone is like that.

You don't get the 30 min penalty if you are kicked, only if you leave. Dust yourself off and hop back in.

While I can see how that sucks, as a healer main I would’ve been glad if a group like that removed me. Imagine how much crap the replacement healer will be going through.

This isnt the first time this sort of thing has happened. Ive gotten the debuff both times. Though, that might be due to having missed a Q pop earlier in the day. If i could just join Q again i would. But, i gotta wait so im killing things very slowly as AST for hunt bills.

Ahh yeah, fair enough, thanks for the thread link.

I would have rather they just listened and continued on. Such a simple change would have made the difference. We didnt wipe, but I had no mana to cast anything at the end, even after 2 Ewer's and Lucid. Neither the RDM or SMN bothered to Mana Shift me. Though, i didnt really have time to type out a call for it.

And you shouldn't judge the community by a couple bad apples. The majority of players here are real cool people.

Oh, I wanted to mention, it has happened to me too. ;)

I just dusted myself off and requed. Not sure why you're eating a 30 min debuff. It's never happened to me when I've been kicked. Did you just assume there was a debuff? :confused:

Well so far every time I have had a wipe there due to fruit not being eaten everyone eats the fruit on the second try and it goes fine. Sometimes someone leaves after the first wipe even if they killed themselves by not eating fruit, which always gives me a little chuckle.

If a group kicks you because you can't outheal them ignoring mechanics in Aurum Vale, they're going to eventually find out that no healer can accomplish that. They're wasting their own time by blaming the healer instead of attempting to do the mechanics. Very few dungeon boss mechanics in the game can be completely ignored while synced.

The roulette is a gamble on who you get partied with as much as what duty you get. Unfortunately it’s possible to suffer “loser streaks”.

Personally the neutral to positive runs tend to outnumber the bad.

Yeah, was mostly being sarcastic. Since, its been pretty obvious that that level of toxicity is rather rare. I got the thread thing already, ill keep that in mind.

Im not gonna let it bother me too much. Was trying to rush 70 in the next day or two on AST. Kinda annoying to have that blatant silliness interrupt me.

Wow. I've not been blamed for a blatant mechanic such as that before. If a debuff was out of my hands, people know it. If not, I'd get asked why I didn't remove it and then I say it's not possible to use esuna and then they go "Oh, I didn't notice that." and carry on. Then again those situations have all but died out ever since they added that little bar over statuses that show they can be removed. Normally I would say they'll learn but since they still kicked you even after mentioning the fruit, I highly doubt it.
