Suggestion: Client Side Markers?

In recent fights and tiers, there have been many mechanics that have been best resolved by use of the 'buddy system' like Sophia's balance markers, Shinryu's chains at the start of the final phase, and, for melee DPS, the beginning of Virus in O7S. Most of the time, it hasn't been too big a deal to mark up the entire party with respective markers for finding your buddy. However, wouldn't it be nice to be able to mark just ONE person, and that mark be visible to you and only you? While Focus Target can solve this problem, I and I'd assume most players use it to target the boss in order to see what mechanic it's casting next.

Thus I suggest we have access to markers that only mark the targeted person on our side, invisible to our party members. It could be helpful to players when learning fights that have only one 'buddy' mechanic, so the entire party does not need to see your marker for where your buddy is, but you, on the other hand, have a quick reference to them.
