Trial>Full Multiple Char Question

Ok so obviously I played trial first. I had created one char that I played physical classes and created another char on another server that I played magic classes. After reaching 30 on these, I paid for the full game, leveled one to 60 and jumped the other to 60 with Level and Story Pot. I like playing 2 separate chars for physical and magic Classes/Jobs. My wife's account is in the same exact state. We play every Class/Job on each char based on physical/magic and eventually will get into crafting.

My questions are these; If we are always to pay in Standard mode, is it worth it to pay the $18 each to transfer the other char over to be on the same server as the other? Should we just stop paying the $2 extra and downgrade to entry?
