Retainers missing

I was on my secondary character after about a 3 weeks absence and discovered I cannot access my retainers. They are not in the Ul'Dah MH where I left them and I cannot get the icons to recall them. can someone please help me?

Did you try a retainer bell perhaps?

Sounds like a bug for the bug report section, but does it say anything when you attempt to call them from the retainer bell, or does nothing happen at all?

It's not surprising that they're not in the Market Wards, but it's odd that you'd be unable to summon them. All I can think of to try is to attempt to summon them in the ward where you left them.
