Is sightseeing log #48 totally dead now?

With Speed Mount 1 and Speed Mount 2 being introduced, has it totally bugged out? There is already a thread of complaints dating back FIVE years, but has anything been done to fix it, or is this considered to be dead content now?

Has anyone WITH SM1 and SM2 been able to achieve it? Frankly after two days I don't think it's possible, keeping full awareness of how hard it is. Without a mount I believe it is unattainable, even as a BRD with Peloton. XD

No need to comment on how hard it is, I 'd just like to know since 4.0 if anyone has done it with the speed mount increases, or if it is even possible anymore.

Limit fps to 30, I think that's how I got it.

I am not playing on a PC, but thanks. Did you try it with the new mount speed? I believe from log 1 to log 2 is impossible, as the mount speed is so fast you launch yourself off the log before you can actually jump. The width of log one is ilms remember.

I did that semi-recently, and I'm on PS4 too. So it's definitely possible. I did it last year, sometime after SB launch though.

However, I did not jump from the other post, I jumped directly from the stack of logs to the correct post. It took some derping around, but I eventually got it to stick...

I've done it recently with the speed mount increases (SM2 about a month ago), it was def. a tricky sightseeing log but I was ecstatic when I finally got on there.

I got this one in December. I had mount speed #2. I actually got it from the pole on the left, I think.

Yeah, that's what I ended up doing too. The guide I had looked up showed jumping from the other pole to the correct pole... which I failed many many times. At some point I just started jumping from the stacks out of sheer desperation... and it seemed so close. So I kept trying that and eventually it worked.
