[Request] Live Hyadelyn

Heya!

If there was something that got me before trying to play FFXI, it was when my friend let me see Live Vana'diel when he was browsing the internets.
It's really great to see players in challenge on live, and gives the people a good example of gameplay, graphics and sh*t like that.

I say, why not!

Lol I use to watch the live cam for XI quite a bit waiting for my beta kit to get to me in the mail (Gogo free HDD and XI for PS2 beta testers!)

I think it would be fun to have it again. However with the lack of players and current situation of the game yada yada.... I'm not sure it would really put much on display.

Maybe after 2.0. . . At this point, it might not be so wise.

One thing for sure though, SE needs to advertise more. %90 percent of my age group (14-18) have never even heard of Final Fantasy. Then %9 percent have actually heard it but, never seen any FF game besides FFXIII. . . That measly %1 percent covers about me and three other people. . .whom are all 18~20. . .

Sorry for the off topic reply but, this just made me really, really sad. ;.;

I don't know how I would have made it through my teens without FFVII & VIII or those couple lonely years post college without grinding the hours away in X and XI in my crappy 1 bed apartment.

Heck, I don't even know if I'd be gamer right now if I had never rented that copy of FF1 with my allowance when I was like 6 years old!

I agree we should have this.

Even if you did make it up, I wouldn't doubt that FF is falling out of touch with the next generation of gamers. Unless these kid's parents introduced them to the series or something, a lot of FF games these days just aren't as good as the competition (Skyrim, Assasin's Creed etc). The gameplay just doesn't cater to today's young gamers imo (not enough action, realism, too much reading, not enough playing) So pretty much the only people that still buy them consistently are the dedicated fans of our generation (20+ year olds)
