Possible event notice? Spooky signs

I'm on the karnak server and all of a sudden the lights in UD are going haywire. Bright, dark, dark bright.. and I'm not the only one seeing this..

Is it a sign of something?

After about 1-2 minutes its now solid bright.. I wonder if it will happen again..

I think Ul'dah needs to hire a new electrician. The Aetheryte room didn't have any lights on one night when I was running through there. I almost broke my ankle falling down the stairs... -.-

If it is tied into world events somehow, the only plausible thing I can think of is that Uldah and I'm assuming everywhere else draws energy from Aetheryte crystals and if the energy they use is starting to be interrupted, depleted even from the Primals being on our plane, that would be the cause.

Honestly, going off that same thought, since the Primals are supposed to use so much of that type of energy to remain here. I would almost expect the wandering odin one they brought the concept art on to black out entire camp sites when its within proximity. But thats merely my speculation. Haven't noticed the lights flickering in Uldah or anywhere else myself.

Could just be a glitch, but if the city states use the aether for power (or something like that) it could be related to the 7th umbral era and possible disruptions in the flow of the aether.

The 7th umbral era is afterall a live event so things will happen that we may not expect from time to time.

I don't imagine it's "Aether" power being disrupted.

Uldah at least uses cerulium for all of it's lighting and burning purposes, that's what those large machines in Bluefog are for they are Cerulium harvesters. Gridanians use a different type of oil (Not mentioned) but refuse to use Ceruliem becuase it is "Devoid of elementals" where all other items in the world have elementals within them that will speak with the Conjurers.

This may be a hint that Cerulium is from a time before elementals existed, or some other strange susbstance that doesn't belong in Eorzea. As far as I can tell though it's the modern world equivelant to oil.
