New DoH: Bootlegger!
The perfect day for a crazy idea.
We've all wanted new a new crafting class. But how do you make one that fits in with everything already established?
Simple! Just let us craft some, uh... "alternative" versions of what we've already got! Gear that almost sorta looks just as good as the good stuff. But we can offer a huge discount by sourcing materials that are practically the same at a fraction of the cost.
It could possibly be less work for devs, instead of creating all new assets, just take what we've already got and rough 'em up a bit. A little threadbare here, a little mismatched color there.
I kinda had this idea a few days ago, and I thought I came up with some way to make it relevant-ish. But I think I lost that part. I just liked the idea of making cheap knock-offs. :D

Eh, wouldn't work as a class. What happens when you get better at bootlegging? Things look closer to the original. I can see a few books with these cheap-o items included though. I already like some of the worn gear you're supposed to turn into actual gear, so a few more pieces would be awesome.

Nah, once youve got a "good enough" version of a handbag you start making something else, you dont try to make the handbag better. Getting better at bootlegging would mean you move on to more complicated and intricate things.

Don't really see the point of a class that can make inferior versions of existing items.
It could however be a class dedicated to making level 1 glamour items.
