Any updates about the phone app?

I searched around and couldn't find anything. Last i heard it was supposed to be some time after the last major patch, and its been a while. I don't know if people just aren't that interested in it or what, but it seems kinda like there's almost nothing concerning it news wise anymore unless iv'e overlooked something. I believe it was supposed to allow us to use in game chat on our phones correct? If anyone knows any updated news/info about it i would really appreciate it. Thank you :).

So far it's scheduled to be released in/after 4.3, the last thing Yoshida said was that they were working on a big server to host the app and they will showcase it in a live letter before they release it, but still no concrete date.

The app will also have free features and premium features, as far as I know chat is one of the free features.

Thank you for the info that is a little more than what i knew so it was helpful. Although i'm a bit sad to hear because i thought it was supposed to be after 4.2 not 4.3, either i misheard or it was delayed =S. I feel like SE has been delaying a lot of things these days.

At this point, the app is a meme to me cause i've heard it coming in x.x patch for almost 4 years now.
