Please Change Raid Loot system
The current loot/drop system in the raids isn't fun or rewarding. Once a week you get 2 chances on a piece that you can use but because a) there are 7 sets (Fending, Striking, Scouting, Aiming, Maiming, Casting, and Healing) b) you can get gear for classes not present, and c) you can get double gear on a single run, you can get wildly divergent results for different groups or members in a group.
My static is in Sigma and has opened 42 chests of those 42 chances for loot I have gotten 0 pieces (and yes, I'm salty about it). The only DRG pieces that have dropped came after I had bought the same pieces with my pages.
With the likely expansion of classes in coming expansions the problem will only get worse.
Luckily there is a solution, one already implemented in the game. In Coil special tomes drop that can be traded for a specific slot's gear. I think its a much better system that ensures more equitable rewards for time spent and reduces the chance of getting 'useless' drops.
