Mlm Kelp Fishing

For some reason after the recent updates, Malm Kelp is impossible to get where I used to fish. Also I cannot find any on the auction house probably cause others cannot fish it either. Did something change or break that was not listed anywhere? I have tried different bait / lures and fishing depths but no Kelp. Used to always get in La Noesca.

yeah now you get it randomly, but if you are fishing them for ALC (Lightning Shards), you can fish other fishies out there.
cause now it's very hard to gather non-fish :/

Try farming it instead. According to Yellow Gremlin, most crab mobs drop it at a fairly decent rate.

Thanks guys. Didnt realize this changed. Will try to farm it.

Limsa docks, Ferry docks, Cedarwood, Bald Knoll all have kelp to just name a few.
