Unable to reliably respond to GM while inside Eureka

I received a response from a GM while inside Eureka and to say the least, it was far from intuitive to respond while still in the instance. While attempting to reply via keyboard shortcuts (mine is set to Ctrl + R), I was getting an error stating "Unable to reply to /tells not received from players on current duty".

I could infrequently respond by right-clicking the GM's name in the chat box and choosing "Send Tell", but this only seems to work for a limited time after receiving the tell before getting a different error stating "Unable to send /tell. Recipient is not participating in same duty." Of course, trying to let the GM know didn't go so well.

1. Receive a response from a GM, attempt to reply via keyboard shortcuts or after a certain amount of time, via right-click in the chatbox, "Send Tell"
2. Attempt to send tell to GM, receive error stating either "Unable to reply to /tells not received from players on current duty" or "Unable to send /tell. Recipient is not participating in same duty."
3. Receive another /tell from GM, hope you can reply
