1.18: Quest Hubs; 1.20: Waiting....

Anyone remember way back in 1.18, when those encampments were added as "quest hubs"? Do you remember running out there to actually see what there was to offer only to be greatly disappointed in one or no quests?

Fast forward to 1.20, would anyone disagree that they're far from a true-live quest hub?

So, I have to ask, is this his idea of a quest hub? These can't still be in a major production phase, 2 patches later. I understand always adding more to existing content, but there is so little still...

Seems like they've been forgotten more then anything ;\

I wouldn't be surprised if introducing quest hubs was put on the back burner a bit. With fee commencements, payment issues, monitoring server populations for mergers, the majority of the paying playerbase having all DoW/DoM maxed, it's likely that this was one of those "let's do it later" things. I'd still expect to see them as Yoshi seems to at least understand the basic components of an MMO.

Yeah, I was thinking about this the other day. It's like they forgot about it. The community too, since no one really talks about it. A bit odd that they never mentioned it again.

Either they scrapped it or they've decided to postpone it further. It's not exactly something the community have been screaming for.

They were those little outposts they added in a few areas. Like the one we went to to grab our Goobbues.

So they got the hub part down. Now we just need some quests...

I thought at first the steads were quest hubs, but when they released the steads they did not advertise those as quest hubs.

Hey guys! I just wanted to let you know that quests were not forgotten and that more (and of course other things) will be implemented after patch 1.21 is released. Also don't forget that a lot of quests will be implemented in 1.21 as a part of the Job-related additions.

What would be amazing is if we had about 25 quests for each job to start out with! With actual cut scenes too! :) Not treated like the mini side quests. I hope I hope I hope!

So you want them to add like 225 quests in one patch? Bit demanding arent we?
