This idea has come up I think but I also think that the more feedback for it the better! I would love to have Tora-Jiro wandering around my bedroom!
Would be neat if they added a piece of furniture to do this. Like a little minion hub that you or FC members could place their minions in. Minions assigned to it could just freely walk around the place, hop on chairs, tables, run around your feet, etc.

It is a little different from Retainers and Servants, not to mention Furnishings and Orchestrions playing songs the owner has acquired, but I don't think it is entirely impossible. I also think at minimum almost every player house (and maybe some FC Estates as well) would no doubt have at least 1 in it lol
As I do have a Lesser Panda as a pet in my roleplay, this would be very nice to have.

IIRC there was an interview recently, or a meeting with fans, where Yoshi said they were considering this, but more in the style of a pen.
I just want a moogle to tend my garden and clean my house. A house moogle if you will. And when he’s not busy he can just roam my house and yard doing things that moogle a do.
It's a nice feature that Monster Hunter World allows. Bats in my gothic residence would be welcome.
