Lost Elemental Levels

Happened to me yesterday. Logged in the evening, did a couple hours Eureka with friends, just managed to hit Level 7 opened up my lockboxes cleaned inventory left the party then logged out in Kugane to change servers to go raid. Logged back 3 hours later, messed around and when i finally when back into Eureka with a different set of friends i was missing one of my elements and was down to level 4.

As someone who's thoroughly enjoyed and defended Eureka this has killed all motivation. I don't know whether im going to get my levels back or not so should I start the grind from 4 again, and if I do and my progress gets reverted back to 7 it probably wont count any new grinding I did. All my friends are now much higher levels than me so I probably have no hope of even being able to efficiently party up with them whenever I get back to level 7.

I filed a ticket last night which got an automated 'Please submit a bug report.' which I did first thing in the morning, however the bug report feature says they wont be able to reply you and so far SE haven't exactly been vocal about this issue.
