Dev Request: Revamp tank and healer LB1 & LB2
Healer and Tank LB1 and LB2 are very underwhelming and underutilized. This is because the Healer LB 1/LB2 does not raise, it's just a potent AoE heal for 0 MP. The tank LB1 and LB2 is weak because it's a very short duration and a small potency. The issue with these is that often times a DPS LB is better for ending the fight sooner. I think in 3 years of playing I've only ever seen these LBs used once or twice in a serious way.
Suggestions:
Healing Wind: Restores 25% of HP and MP of all nearby party members. Reduces the recast of abilities on cool down by 25%.
Breath of Earth: Restores 60% of HP and MP of all nearby party members. Reduces the recast of abilities on cool down by 50%.
Shield Wall: Reduces damage taken by all party members by 10% for 15 seconds and increases damage dealt by 5%
Mighty Guard: Reduces damage taken by all party members by 20% and increases damage dealt by 10% for 25 seconds.
This will allow for tank/healer LB1 and LB2 to have more of a use for content.
Also, why not give all jobs unique LB1 and LB2 animations and names?
Dragoon
LB1: High Jump
LB2: Penta Thrust
Monk
LB1: Victory Smite
LB2: Asuran Fists
This would be better than a MNK or DRG wielding a giant sword for their LBs, or a BRD using a Crossbow.
