We're allowed to choose a pose of our outdoor NPC. Why not allow us to do the same for indoor ones? For example, these poses can make a house unique - sweeping the floor, tending/watering indoor garden, "guard mode" for private bed room, cooking.

I WOULD LOVE THIS. SO MUCH.
Seriously it would make any residence feel more alive if the npcs actually did some animations relating to their job.
I think my Au Ra material supplier is a little tired of having her hand on her hip all the time.
I would really like it too!
There are already poses for random NPCs where they count or search things and so on. It would be great if we could at least have those poses, if it's too difficult to make new poses only for housing NPCs.
I would love that! Would be amazing if my NPC acted like washing the dishes and such. Just kinda worried it would count towards "interactive item" that already annoys me a lot with items disappearing. They need to raise that too then! :D
I would really love this! Right now I have two of them behind a kind of merchant counter, but if I could have them around doing things I'd be happy to scatter them a bit and reorganize the merchant into something else.
Just having them be able to be placed into a seated position so we can place them in chairs would be enough to for me.
They don't count towards the cap of 40 visible interactable items. You can test it by placing 40 interactable items other than vendors. Everything should be visible. If you place one vendor (or even 10), everything is still visible. But if you place another interactable item like a flower pot, picture frame, summoning bell etc., one of those 41 items will disappear.
That is very good to know! It would have been a huge drawback to add more NPC only to not be able to use all of them due to the interactable items.
I hope they do consider this enhancement in the future.
