A Couple Ideas

Idea 1 - Materia Growth
Maximum-strength Grade IV Materia is difficult to obtain, and therefore very expensive, so I thought of a nice solution. What if players were able to take the spiritbond from a piece of equipment and use it to upgrade the materia already melded to it? i.e.: Assume you have a pair of Velveteen Shortgloves with a Dexterity II Materia (Dexterity +7). After applying the full spiritbond of the gloves to the Materia, it would become a Dexterity II Materia (Dexterity +8). After the Materia reaches the highest degree for its grade, another upgrade would raise it to Dexterity III Materia (Dexterity +11)! This way players who err on the side of caution will have a means to boost the attributes of their Materia with minimal risk, but at the cost of more time spent in the process.

Idea 2 - Stealth Tweaking:
I have been diligently seeking the Axe of the Luminary, and there have been many times where I opted to walk past the Antling Diggers in Halatali instead of using Stealth IV. On occasion these monsters will attack me anyway, although the risk is minimized by my slowed pace. The reason I don't use Steal IV consistently is because I cannot mount my Chocobo/Goobbue while in Stealth mode and I hate having to switch out of it. Would it be possible to program it so that calling a Chocobo/Goobbue will remove the effect of Stealth in the same manner as switching to Active mode?
