Every time tried this week to use present keeps telling me its only available each week between Friday at 12 am and the following Tuesday at 12 am. Says have 4 tries left but won't let me use any of them. Tried using present from Tuesday to Thursday with no luck. Guess I will try Friday to see if it let me use any of my 4 presents.
You can only try during the period it's already stated for you. Until then you just have to try and decipher what they might mean for each item until the npc is open for attempts on Friday. :)
From tuesday to friday you can see this weeks hints and guess what items you need to put together for the fashion challenge. From friday to the tuesday reset you can present yourself to be judged. If you dont like your score the first time, you can change parts of your outfit(the items or the dyes on them) and get judged again(up to 4 judgings in a week). The game has a formula it uses to give you a score, so just talking to him again without changing something will result in the same score(each item has a point value assigned as does each dye color). Hope that makes sense!
It's done this way so that you've got a few days to farm the items you think will be needed, and also to prevent instant scalping on the identified items. (Doesn't stop speculation pricing, but that has the prospect of burning buyers and sellers if the items turn out to be wrong.)
