Obtaining rare crafting mats

Hey development team what's up with the elusive crafting mats you make crafting so difficult in the game to where it's impossible I should not have to do countless hours of stupid grinding when I just want to craft to obtain items such as nagxain silk
We Crafters should not have to grind to obtain rare items to sell material on the market board this is unfair I can understand if it was a rare elusive item but to rent treasure maps just to get a materials that is wrong you need to take them out of the treasure chest and make them a little bit easier acquired for us Crafters who don't care about running with other people on stupid treasure maps that is not even a guarantee because you get trolls who tried to run them

Either that or you need to make it a guaranteed drop every run every time

rare materials such as nagxain silk should not be only able to be found in treasure chest of treasure maps it should be just like every type of else cloth craftable you could make a Mastercraft 7 and 8 and put it in the crafting log the way it should be because not everyone of us the way it should be it is not fair to those who do not wish to run those dungeons when crafting materials you should be able to get from the grand company or Crap them yourself or harvest them

Are you kidding? With 4.2 all these mats are 10X easier to get. They drastically JUST improved it, what else do you want? The price on the MB for every rare mat obtained through 60 or 70 maps has dropped at least 500% on my server. They literally just improved this..... They wouldnt be rare if you could just go get them without any effort.

LOL what are you serious? Crafting is not that hard, materials have better drops, you can use FC seals for some as well, have you ever wonder why people greed on gear when they don't need it.? yeah that is one reason lol. For someone who has not even gotten past lvl 10 for any crafting ( your posting character ) is just childish. No offense man put some effort into it. Also here is a tip, trade in HQ items you get x2 the XP / GILL / Seals if your doing daily FC turn ins. Make some friends and see if they can make you some HQ gear as well if your really struggling. LOL too funny.

Now if you have a An ALTERNATE THAT IS HIGH LEVEL, lol same principle. Put effort into it, raise your DoL to get materials, use your retainers as well to gather they cap at what ever level your at. Otherwise just save your gill or Desynthesise for materials. USE FC buffs to assist you if your gathering for a boost and XP as well, don't worry all of us who craft and put in the effort know it was a pain...well could be worse it could be FFXI. This is soooo much easier lol.

For crafter seal items use trade ins as well in fact they added weekly turn ins that ...if done properly...can get you 1.1k + scripts from either one of the turn in npcs.

I can't believe gamers like this. I like a challenge in my video games, or else it's boring. This guy is the common denominator and it sucks because game develops such as square enix have to tend to this kind of player because they're the majority. This is why games are so streamlined now. Developers have to tend to the pansy gamer playing candy crush waving their moms credit card

I think it is more enjoyable when there are items at different levels of rarity (common, uncommon, rare). It's more exciting to find items which do not drop every run and gives people something to spend big money on.

These items are not rare and if you don't want to run treasure maps for them, you can always buy them off the MB. They got ten times cheaper since the new treasure maps were introduced.

And they wonder why many of the big franchises and sequels die horrible deaths. Because they change them so much to cater to pansy gamers. That they lose what it was that made them popular in the first place.
