Hey :)

When I try tanking using my warrior I get to the bit where you pick a spooky ghost and have to fight it in a carriage - I use one cooldown to take the first misery cast (or whatever it’s called) that he does and it takes a huge amount of health (I use a cooldown for it). The second time he does it, I try another cool down but then he kills me.

Should I be killing him before the second cast, or what cooldowns should I use to survive it?

Yeah, aim to bust that ghost before he casts again ^_^

if you want to cheese it, you will need to save your IR for that, basically, you pop IR two fC's and maybe an upheaval and dead. You need to kill it like that quickly in order to use the cheese mechanic. You will need to kill him before he gets his second tank buster cause off if you want to-do it none cheese way.

I'm doing this on my paladin and I didnt even know that the ghost would cast that again... He dies within two combos for me - are you sure you're picking the right ghost? The one thats meant for tanks and dies like a fly? Because thats absolutly what it should do: Die quickly like a fly.

You missed seeing the word "again" in my post :)
OP is asking how to handle a second cast of that, not the first one. I obviously use hallowed ground for that and watch it die seconds after - never saw it casting it again, a second time.

The ghost starts casting a few seconds after you have registered that you are in the train cart. if you are not seeing it then your dps and latency must be super good

He meant the second cast. As a PLD, I didn't see it either, I tend to kill it before I see a second cast. I'd say it's like the General's Might inside the Time Gate for A12S.

Ideally, like Vidu suggested, drop Defiance and go full DPS/Deliverance. Try to save some wrath before getting in if it's becoming an issue.

Oh yup! i don't see the second one either it is usually dead anyways. maybe he is going in there without any BG that would be a problem.

It should die before the second cast and much faster if you're trying to cheese it as a warrior. Mr. Happy guide says the ghosts in the room get a larger HP each time someone gets taken by a ghost, so try to avoid that especially before the add phase.
