A Few Questions as a New Player about Monks (potential Spoilers)

Hi:

Thanks anyone who can answer my question. I'm having a tough time find any answers online. I really, really love this game.

I play as a Summoner (49), Red Mage (50) and Monk (60).

The questions I have are about the Monk class. I'm very happy I purchased the level 60 boost for Monk. However, what I did not realize is that I skipped over the quests for Monk and I don't know the story plot.

1) Is there anywhere online where I can read the story plot for monk

But, if not

2) Do Monks go to the dark side? Is there a short explanation you can give me about the monk plot. I know there are two characters Erik the Scientists and Wildergelt the Monk. I played the quests up to the point where the Monk shares he does not like Erik because he has no heart just science. So, is there a way to give me a short synopsis?

The reason I ask if monks go to the Dark side is because I'm now all in black as a 60 character.

The ability to go to the dark side would require player choice. We don't have that here.

That said, you will encounter a storyline regarding those who have. It should be decently enjoyable for you.

Check your Journal for completed quests, where you can read the synopsis of each quest the boost completed.
Additionally, you may also check into an Inn room, where you can examine the Unending Journey to look for any cutscenes that may have also been included during those quests.
