Housing Census!

Let's see how each server is doing! I just finished counting Ultros 5:30pm EST we currently have left.

Limsa: 219 smalls

Gridania: 202 smalls

Uldah: 296 smalls and 37 mediums

Shirogane: 3 smalls

Are your guys servers similar? I hope everyone is getting a wonderful little house and decorating! Good luck everyone!

Damn you guys still have mediums left? I haven't checked since this morning before work, but last I saw Jenova had no larges or mediums, but an average of a dozen smalls per ward in LB, Mist, and Goblet and 3 smalls in Shiro.

Balmung:
Mist: 4 smalls
Goblet: 10-15 smalls
Everything else: Gone.
(The only reason these aren't gone cause they are on timers and being camped)

Tonberry Status

Mist: 5 Small
LB: 4 Small
Goblet: 2+ Medium, 50+ Small (sick of counting after 8 wards, I can assume there are a tonne more)
Shiro: Nothing

Tonberry is a fairly high pop server with approx 12k active players (still waaaaay short of Balmung, but it's enough for character creation to be consistently locked). I think if people are REALLY wanting houses, they are there. May be worth taking something that's not your absolute dream and relocating once something else becomes available. If you really want a house for housing benefits, it'll be worth it either way.

Ragnarok

Mist - 1 small
Lavendar Beds - 0
Kugane - 0
Goblet 57 small

Famfrit still has larges in goblet and LB, still a couple wards in goblet with only 1-2 houses. Low pop life is best life.

Goblet needs a facelift so people want to go there.

Our FC house is there but we got the mansion overlooking the waterfall and the water area below and its beautiful. The only other houses that were taken before today surrounded the water area. I cant blame people for not wanting to get a house there, most players don't want to stare at walls or cliffs like most of the houses out there.

my fc is in mist and most of my irl friends have in the lavender. none have in goblet eww

Still plenty to go around for those who are logging in late or could not take the day off. The number has not diminished severely since the count I took a week after FC/Transfers went live. I think for a handful of not insanely populated servers, this approach worked pretty well.
