New Player (Help Plz)
Hello all,
My friend just got me into this amazing game, set me up, told me as much as he could, and then I ran off doing dungeons, story quest (My bard), and then deep dungeon to 40 since I do not have the expansions, this is far as my journey may take me.
I love doing the deep dungeons, but as I mentioned above, I hit my cap and on my new awesome white mage is L30. With that being said; where and what should I do to level now? I know I cannot go beyond 50 but I figure I could then roll another class and do the same since times are tough and I won't be getting the xpac for a long time.
Rest in next post -- sorry.

Fates are pretty slow alone as I do not wish to bug my L70 raiding friend to come hold my hand lol.
Story quest is into the 40's from my bard. Love this story btw.
Not a PvPer.
I read those normal quest are bad for xp, but then again me crying about what is best way to level is even slower.
I love dungeons, but outside of daily roulette, I am not sure if they are worth their weight in gold.
Thank you all for any feedback -- even if it's a down vote as all your feedback is valuable to a new player such as myself. Have a wonderful day. 8)

P.S. This game is AMAZING!

The highest level dungeons you can do are usually good for xp. While you wait in queue you could do the hunting log. Each class gets their own. When you kill things in the open world, use xp food and remember to utilize the chain kill experience bonus i.e. don't wait too long between mob kills. Challenge log is a way to get experience and gil every week for little effort.
What class/job you level next is up to you. Palace of the Dead is a very fast leveling option and you can reset you save slots to run the early floors again for experience. Your aetherpool gear will not be reset when doing so.
Although this is not the fastest way to get experience, I did every guildhest once with every class because there is an experience and gil bonus for doing so. The higher level ones have some unusual mechanics and I considered them a fun way to break the monotony of dungeons.
By the way, you can bypass the 1000 character limit on forum posts by editing your post. Welcome to the game! :D
