A bit about VanGuard

We are a determined tight knit community of veteran 1.0 players including brand new friends who just started playing the game. We will strive towards our goals while enjoying our gaming experience together and bringing more along for the content and enjoy everything this game has to offer.

We are looking forward to taking more experienced and new players alike as long as you are willing to learn, help others within the FC, work as part of a team and accept constructive advice. Our belief is that everyone can benefit from this regardless of experience whilst maintaining an atmosphere of good humor and enjoyment.

Our Main Focus-all endgame content, although most of us enjoy a variety of different things in game including Raiding, PVP, fates, dungeons and crafting!

Casual Gamer -
If you like to play casually, that's not a problem and we would love to have you. Most of us have real life commitments we like to ensure our gaming time is as enjoyable and fulfilling as possible. With this in mind we always strive to achieve our best and will actively encourage others to do the same.


Mid/Hardcore Gamer -
While VanGuard as a whole is around Midcore level, we have plenty of people tackling FFXIV’s most challenging content WITHOUT the elitist no forgiving mentality. Every aspect of the game is meant to be enjoyed and that's the way we see it. We encourage everyone to strive for their best(as you should always strive for that in any area of your life), and we work as a team and family and challenge every piece of content the game has to offer.
