Returning player looking for an FC that's supportive of people with mental illnesses

I posted this in the Mateus server forum which is where I'd like to play, but I thought I might repeat my inquiry here to broaden my search a bit. We may be willing to go to a new server to find what we're looking for. It really depends on what we find...

I'd like to find an FC that is accepting and understanding of people with mental disorders, illnesses, and disabilities. Being willing to facilitate blind runs of older content in a low-anxiety or casual environment is a must. RP is a plus, but only if not required. I like to play immersively, but am not sure that I want to actually RP.

If no such community exists, I may be willing to start one but my husband and I will want to do the leg work of getting to rank 6 and buying a house ourselves before we start actively recruiting.

Our FC might be willing to help out.....all we ask is you have an eagerness to learn and patience to listen when we give you the information you request. The biggest challenge we observe is the fact people don't ask for help when they need it....too often they just "bite the bullet and eat the queue" - Mental illness's can be a challenge - as someone that fights dyslexia and Asperger's - I happen to have some experience in that area. If your capable of communication and willingness to learn - you'll be fine in our FC. We won't pressure you to do things you don't want to do while providing an environment to learn and to grow in.

I would ask you check with us first to specify what sort of illness's your talking about - we want to make sure that there's no issues with the rest of the group in terms of communications/expectations. You didn't specify so better to be safe than sorry. ^_^

We're not big on RP'ing (yet) - but we do have fun from time to time.

We are however on Adamantoise - so a transfer would be needed. We have an rank 8 FC with a house already built - and should have an airship online soon.

If your open to switching servers, we might be a good fit for you. Grievance is located on Midgardsormr. We are a casual guild with 4 static teams. However, we do have casual raid nights every Saturday that do not require sign ups, typically that raid leader has a focus or theme of what will be done, but we always do member requests and unlocks that night as well.
