Show off your Elephants

Some of us should have elephants by now. Got mine last night. And I like when it tramples on things.

Honestly, some mounts just should not fly. It's pretty dumb seeing elephants flying as is, but it doesn't even flap it's ears! That animation alone would have kept me quiet. But it's not Dumbo, it's just dumb!

I second this. I immediately disliked the way this looked when I saw it and I'm a mount hoarder.

I also agree that this is just stupid. But, most people don’t care.

As long as it’s a new shiny, that is ALL that matters until a new shiny appears. Then THAT is all that matters.

Sorry but I think every mount should fly in some way, since flying is pretty much needed now. (They don't need to update all the old ones that don't, however) Though they should have made this look a little better when it is. I still love it, it's an elephant.

I do like the flavor text though that explains HOW it can fly (they put a flying carpet on it) instead of just going "eh it's a magic creature, it can".

with how afraid FFxiv is of getting sued (look at Perform), they probably avoided any likeness whatsoever to the elephant you're referring to.
