I have been spending some dreadful hours trying to find the path to get to this dang place because my compass tells me my last aether current is approximately where the flag is. I've looked all around the horribly designed map and can find no way up so please help me ;_;
EDIT: There was no aether current there to begin with, I was looking in the wrong place. Ok' Vundu Mok appears inaccessible by foot (or I'm just too dumb to find it but the point is that there should be no aether current there) and the aether current I was looking for was found by the entryway to The Pillars, west of the flag I put down (if anyone struggles with this like the idiot I was in the future).

IF I'm not mistaken, there is a path leading up to that sector from the southwestern edge of Ok' Vundu Vana(just west of the loop that has the red pin in it). I haven't ran around that map in some time, so it is quite possible there is another path, but from the map that looks to be the spot you need to get to. Either there, or right need the path leading to the water in Voor Sian Siran.
Edit: Alternatively, if there is someone in your FC, or a friend(maybe even just someone who you can open a party finder for) that can fly you there with their 2-seater mount, it might be easier.
Edit 2: Wish I could tell you for certain, but that wouldn't be able to happen for another ~7hours as I'm at work right now. -

just keep doing MSQ the story will take you where you need to go and you'll uncover the map and get your aether currents.

The Sea of Clouds is literally the only place for this expansion that I cannot fly in yet because I need that last aether current that's not attached to any quest.Quote:

Your edit sounds like you got it, but yeah. No foot path. The areas that looked like it might be are just misleading over/under parts that aren't very clear on 2D maps.

It isn't even there the first time you zone into the northern half. So by the time you can get it, you're already farther north and the compass is pointing you south and it looks like you should be going to Ok' Vundu Mok.Quote:
