Tamanos missing tails?

the fox lady appeared on our server today and since its finally not that crowded anymore, I was able to get a better look at her than the first times I did this FATE. And I noticed something: Shes - according to the FATE-description and the mythogoly shes based on - supposed to have 9 tails. I'm only counting seven though - two on each side and then the huge middle-part that spilts into three tails.
Am I missing something? Do her two eyebrows count as tails? Is this just a design-choice (seems weird to me though, could have easly added two more tails)? Or is there a possible lore-reason for this?

I think I see the issue. I had to watch 2 videos cause at first it looked like 3 tails split in 3, making nine. But then I saw the tsils how you saw it. From what I can gather we arent seeing the spirit at full strength. And the FATE description says the spirit is "inside" a girl; think Naruto, whenever he manifested Kurama, the amount of tails showed his strength. This might indicate her becoming a trial or something Odin level.

Plus a fox spirits age is usually linked to their tails as well. This might show that she isn't that old yet.
