Transfer from PS4 to PS4[NOT WORKING?]

Hey all, hopefully someone could help me out here?

Has anyone ever had an issue transferring their FFXIV game from one PS4 to a newer PS4(playstation slim)?
My husband just attempted to do so and by doing that he is no longer able to play FFXIV for "He doesn't own it", even though he's fully transferred from PS3 to PS4 with a subscription still on his account.
The Playstation store's telling him he doesn't own the game, meanwhile every achievement he's received in the game remains on his Playstation profile.

It is the same PS4 account that he used on the older PS4, there's nothing different about it.

On Playstation, the Square Enix account will link to the Sony Entertainment Network account, so it doesn't matter what PS4 you are playing on. Is there perhaps more than one PSN account on that new PS4?

What is the exact message he gets when he tries to play the game?
