Patch download

In all the previous patches we've been able to download the patch an hour or more before the maint ends but the client has yet to update for me. Has anyone else been able to download it yet?

Is it possible they won't make it available until the servers go up?

Not raging, just curious about the difference between this patch and previous ones.

Ya this has me a little nervous. Unless they have learned Blizzard's way of hotfixing without client patches then this is very unusual. I've not yet seen a patch yet myself.

I don't personally have a problem with it, but that's because my connection is solid.

It will suck for anyone with slower internet though, don't know why they didn't release the patch download sooner :/

To my understanding there isn't always a download after every maintence? I would assume if it is delayed a bit they would have said something by now even though they also already tell us every time that the actual time is subject to change.

it could just be server side, database and other various things. But a small activation patch might come.

Edit: OK well, they are probably more DDoS attacks.

Unless they're adding assets, what's to download?

They are referencing a Feb 6 patch here....but, that might not mean anything necessarily.

The community reps are usually prompt with an update if maint times change so I've no reason to expect they have at this point. I suppose its possible they aren't changing any client side files but I find that unlikely.

I was half afraid i was the only one and my client was broken ;)

All they are doing is taking the lock off the wards, so maybe no patch...???
