Spiritbond

Yesterday I was collecting materials and crafting and I felt that both DOH and DOL did not win Spiritbond in any of them, not even 1% and I stayed for more than 4 hours doing this.
Something else happened to someone else.

You need to do something of appropriate level to create the spiritbond. Crafting hempen yarn with a 320 tool isn't going to make it bond, twinthread will. Similar with gathering and combat.

IIRC, the spiritbond level range is -15 to +15 item level difference between your gear and the item being killed/crafted/gathered. Please, note the last time I saw any real numbers on this were back in 2.x series; range might be larger now due to larger item level escalation.
The closer to +10 you are the more spiritbond you will receive.

Another thing, HQ gear item and each materia melded will increase your spiritbond rate by 20%.

It takes me somewhere around 200 twinthread-level items to spiritbond.

For gatherers, don't bother with stuff like Zelkova logs. Hit the timed nodes. It will bond in a snap. Anything below that takes something like 8 nodes per percent of spiritbond if I recall.
