Should Cape Westwind have a lower level cap?

I'm curious about what people think about the idea of having an item level cap for Cape Westwind being something like 70. I say this because as someone who just finished a run of it with a new person, I felt bad for them. The game did everything it could to really make Rhitahtyn fairly intimidating, but then the fight just ends.

It left me feeling bad. Like somehow by being able to beat it in less than a minute I was taking away from someone's story, a story that I went through at the appropriate level, and a story that I loved. I want them to feel the same way, but as it currently stands, the fights are just underwhelming for a new player. The Garlean empire doesn't pose any threat.

However, I can also see the case for not wanting a new level restriction. It is the free win and if there is no one who is new, I don't think that people should be needlessly slowed down as the fight itself isn't that special compared to other trials.

So, I'm curious about how people feel about lower caps for lower content.

Personally, I want a Cape Westwind (Savage).

I think all level 50 content should have a lower level cap. I know people like their quick instances, but I hate seeing how CT and the old primals have become so trivial. It's only the 2.5 content that is still 'playable' to me.

well it's not like you could 1 min it on 2.0 the first month, i'd say not i70 but i55 would be more fun

When has the garleans empire ever really posed a threat???

One of the biggest problems with the main scenario and stuff is it's all so ridiculously easy. The dialogue and even some of the cutscenes often try and hard to create tension and suspense but then every piece of content is rofl stomped that the empire simply cannot pose a threat.

Even instances like cold steel. And the one where you retake Albania. The latter of which I went afk to answer the door and came back to duty complete. The fact my character was just stood still for almost 4 minutes not even auto attacking anything I still cleared the instance.

Or when you break into castrum whatsitcalled to free the doman prisoners. Was so dangerous I literally can't remember the name of the place that's how much respect I had for the garlean empire. Even your strongholds are a joke

Doma castle is an absolute cake walk even if your still wearing your 270 shire gear you can rofl stomp the whole place.

You never really feel the threat the plot and story tries to create. You basically trample the garlean empire every step of the way.

My FC runs it as a joke with new players, they finish it like 5-6 seconds lol. I do think it should have a lower ilvl cap though, it's not even enjoyable or worth doing lol.
