The new Expanded Inventory View design

Just going to pop in to say that whoever designed this does not seem to understand what 'expanded view' means - we now see less than before with Expanded View for inventory.

I'm at work now and can't check. How does the expanded view looks now? :( Could anyone show a screenie?
This is bothersome, I've been using that for a while now and it was very comfy with it. I'll likely get used to the changes but, it sounds like one of those minor things that will just bug me a lot at first.

here ya go MuseTraveller. I have my retainer open, but it'll help you get the idea, as it's the same with the reatiner open or closed.

What is the problem? Looks fine to me.

On expanded inventory view, we used to see 100 slots (4x25), now we only see 70 (2x35). So we're seeing less than before with the expanded inventory.

EDIT: Let me add, before we got the 40 new inventory slots in SB, that meant we could see ALL our personal inventory in one go. The tabs were for "Inventory", and "Key items and crystals" only. Really helped me get a birds-eye view of my inventory at all times.

It use to display all 4 at once, now it's only 2 at a time.

Thank you both! Yeah that feels a little strange. I guess it will take some time getting used to. :/

It's not often I log in to a new patch and within a minute I find something that I simultaneously hate and don't understand the reasoning for.

Why did this need fixing?

I think cause it looks more symmetrical now? But like stated before, you have overview of less items and that's annoying. I enjoyed my bird view too pre SB but was happy with the added slots. I usually had something unimportant on the 2nd page that rarely needed viewing.
