System error occurred

I started up my launcher to be greeted by this error:

"A system error has occurred: -2146697208. http://frontier.ffxiv.com/version_4_0_win/index.html?rc_lang=eng_gb&time=2018-01-30-10"

wtf is this? I've tried turning off my virusscanner, resetting router, clearing internet cache. And I don't really want to reinstall the game unless absolutely needed.

Also tried running the launcher as administrator, but that just gives me a black launcher with nothing in it =/

What else can i try? =/
